Rock Band

Ok I took the plunge, stuff waiting 6 months for the PS3 version or equally as long for Guitar Hero world tour, ordered it off Play.com yesterday and its been posted out already. £139.98 all together which isn't bad considering the band in a box (instruments only) is £129.99 in GAME.

Can't wait to start bashing out some tunage on this, I'll let you all know what its like when it turns up

Don't get me wrong the PS3 will still win, I'm just having best of both worlds lol. Microtoss have the money to throw around at min and Rock Band has already sold well on the PS3 in the states but I won't wait that long for it over here

i am very satisfied with rock band. ive had it since christmas and i think ive played at a minimum of once a week and a max of all the time. you're getting a very good game in rock band and have fun hippy! lol

i plan on purchasing a 360 this summer just to see what it's like and so i can play with more of my local friends. do not worry, i will most definitely game with all of u still. but dont be afraid to join me lol

I certainly wasn't disappointed with this, the guitar sections are a easier learning curve compared to GH3, its easier to play on the Hard setting on Rock Band than playing Hard on GH.

I'm slowly getting into the drums and can do most songs on the medium setting but being naturally a guitarist and piano player I find it hard to co-ordinate my foot for the kick drum.

I'm holding a 360 LAN party at my place next month and will have the full setup with additional guitar also

Well I won't be getting Rock Band coz I was only planning on getting the game & the drums since we've already got two Guitar Hero guitars but since they are not compatible so I'll be waiting for Guitar Hero 4 since the drums on that look better and have symbols

i thought GH guitars were compatible ?????

Well on 360 they are but on PS3 my Guitar Hero guitar will not work with Rock Band

no im pretty sure there is at least one GH guitar that works with rock band for ps3. and honestly i would wait for Rock Band 2 cause that game will be as good if not better than GH4. Obviously nothing has been confirmed yet but no news is good news isn't it?

EDIT: LIE, gh ps3 guitars don't work with rock band. my bad...

yup only the GH3 controllers on the 36- work with rock band, Microshite throwing money around to make things work lol.

I'll probably end up getting GH4 too lol.

As for drunken videos of Rock band at the LAN party, that is near enough a certainty

Well I tried the drums on Rock Band and absolutely love it!

So I might get Rock Band with just the drums for now

When it comes out on PS3 anyways
